Maze Tower Defense Wiki

You do not defend a fixed path — you build it. Towers are the walls, and every one you place has to leave a route from every entrance to the fortress. This is the complete reference: every mechanic, every enemy, and every one of the 25 campaign levels with its map.

Start here

New to the game? Read Mechanics first — the mazing rule is the whole game, and it is not obvious from the tutorial. Then skim Enemies for the four that break a naive maze: Flyer ignores the maze entirely, Runner dodges 25% of shots, Brute attacks your towers instead of walking past them, and Healer undoes chip damage.

The web prototype

This wiki documents the native iOS and macOS app. The original browser prototype — test27 on this site — shares the mazing rule, the grid and most enemy stats, but it predates the campaign, the support buildings, spells and the fortress upgrade trees, and it caps towers at 3 levels instead of 6. Where numbers differ, the app is the one described here.
